Responsibilities will include: 1) proposal/report writing; 2) prospect research; 3) record keeping and a review of hard copy grant files; and 4) a variety of misc. writing, editing and support tasks related to departmental and agency needs.
Applicants should have a college degree, one or more years experience writing proposals within a social service environment, competency in MS Office and grant database software, a desire to work within an agency that embraces diversity; and the capacity to quickly develop the ability to write about many issues with which they may have little previous experience – including but not limited to the needs/experiences of immigrants, refugees, foster children, pregnant teens, people living with HIV/AIDS, low-income families, seniors, and homeless women.
