Grant Writer/Public Relations Coordinator

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The position will plan, direct and coordinate the activities related to researching and identifying grant funding opportunities as well as, writing and submitting grant applications and reports to foundations, corporations and churches. (We do not apply or accept government grants.) This position is also responsible for Open Door Missions image and marketing of, including print publications, website, special events, photography, media releases to keep Open Door Mission in the public eye and to provide a supportive environment for fund raising.
QUALIFICATIONS BA or related experience; 3-5 years experience in grant writing and public relations. Proven written and verbal communications skills; strict attention to detail, demonstrated ability to multitask, proven organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize projects independently while working in a team setting.
