Fellowship for Grant Writers (and other Development Professionals)

By • Oct 29th, 2007 • Category: Latest Blog Post

Here is another great opportunity for grant writers (or other Development Professionals) to apply for some funding for career advancement.

The Carol H Pitchersky Development Fellowship

The Carol H. Pitchersky Development Fellowship reflects Carol’s passion
for advancing civil rights, human rights and civil liberties; her
steadfast conviction that sound development strategies and operations
are central to institutional advancement; and her recognition of the
tremendous need for development professionals who are people of color.

Eligible candidates are young adults between the ages of 24 and 35 with
an undergraduate degree and demonstrated commitment to civil rights and
social justice as shown through course of study and work experience. The
ideal candidate is someone who has at least two years of work experience
beyond college and can demonstrate an interest in a development career
through work choices, volunteer experience, independent study, etc. The
fellowship should be seen as career advancement, not a diversion or
side-step to policy/program work.
